1st December, 2011 (Jammu) - Gita Jayanti week will be celebrated grandly by GOKUL organisation for the benefit of the Jammu society. From 2nd December to 6th December, 2011, a special lecture series on Gita, by Shri Devakinandan Das ji, the famous Gita exponent, will be organised daily from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Gokul, 25 D/C, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. In this, the teachings of the Gita relevant for the youth of today will be highlighted in a simplified way. The Gokul centre will be distributing Gita and other devotional literature to the youth of the state for their spiritual development. In the present day of confusion, Gita can guide all of us for a better understanding of the life. It is more important for the youth to know the practical teachings of the Gita.
